David Perkins, LCSW (in New York State) is a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in the treatment of adults and teenagers with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and phobias as well as post traumatic stress disorder and anger management issues. David's primary treatment modality is cognitive behavioral therapy both classical and third wave (Acceptance and Committment Therapy and Mindfulness). Cognitive behavioral treatment is structured and results-oriented. Mr. Perkins also practices Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as providing a safe space for you to explore issues related to existential concerns, relationship issues and life transitions. The cost of treatment is $170.00 for 45 minutes. Initial evaluation which lasts for one hour and includes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment is $225.00.
